Clipchamp\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Business Analyst to manage business analysis activities for complex web and mobile application projects. The candidate will work closely with clients, Product and Engineering teams, QA, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear requirements, effective communication, and successful delivery of product features.\nThe ideal candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of an ongoing project, understanding existing product functionality, managing evolving requirements, and maintaining strong client relationships. Strong expertise in requirements analysis, Figma, client communication, user stories, and cross-functional coordination is essential.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis\nLead requirement-gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.\nUnderstand business objectives, user journeys, existing functionality, and product dependencies.\nTranslate business requirements into functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and detailed acceptance criteria.\nIdentify requirement gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, assumptions, edge cases, and potential risks before development begins.\nAssess the impact of new requirements on existing functionality and other system components.\nProvide practical recommendations to improve product functionality and user experience.\nDevelop and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, user stories, and other business analysis documentation as required.\n2. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management\nAct as the primary Business Analyst point of contact for day-to-day client communication.\nIndependently clarify requirements, resolve functional queries, and manage evolving client expectations.\nPrepare professional client-facing emails, requirement documents, meeting notes, and clarification questions.\nPresent proposed solutions, document decisions, and obtain stakeholder approvals.\nMaintain effective communication between clients, product teams, engineering, QA, and design teams.\nBuild a strong understanding of client expectations and ensure requirements remain aligned with business objectives.\n3. Web & Mobile Application Analysis\nAnalyse features and workflows across web applications and mobile applications, including iOS and Android.\nUnderstand differences in functionality, navigation, platform capabilities, and user experience across devices.\nDevelop a strong understanding of existing product functionality, user personas, business rules, and end-to-end workflows.\nIdentify functional dependencies and potential impacts across application components.\nSupport requirement definition for new features, enhancements, and existing product functionality.\n4. Figma & UI/UX Collaboration\nReview Figma design files and interactive prototypes to understand intended user experiences and application workflows.\nMap design screens, user interactions, and navigation flows to business requirements and acceptance criteria.\nValidate UI designs against approved business requirements.\nWork closely with UI/UX designers to review screens, prototypes, and interaction flows.\nIdentify gaps between proposed designs, business requirements, and existing product functionality.\nClarify functional expectations and communicate design-related questions to relevant stakeholders.\n5. Functional Feasibility & Technical Coordination\nEvaluate functional feasibility and collaborate with technical teams on implementation approaches.\nUnderstand API integrations, system workflows, data flows, and technical dependencies.\nAnalyse integrations with external APIs, payment gateways, subscription platforms, authentication services, and third-party systems.\nIdentify integration risks, dependencies, and potential impacts on existing functionality.\nSupport developers and QA teams in resolving functional queries during development and testing.\nEnsure requirements and acceptance criteria are clear, complete, and testable.\n6. Agile Delivery & Requirement Management\nParticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, sprint reviews, and release planning.\nManage and maintain requirements, user stories, and backlog items using Jira and Confluence.\nCoordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and UI/UX teams to support timely feature delivery.\nClarify requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nSupport functional validation and ensure delivered features align with approved requirements.\nManage changing requirements while maintaining clarity, traceability, and stakeholder alignment.\nRequired Technical Skills & Competencies\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably working on web and mobile application products.\nStrong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.\n Hands-on experience with Figma is mandatory, including reviewing design files, navigating prototypes, understanding user flows, and validating UI designs against business requirements.\nProven experience handling direct client communication and independently managing requirements.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nExperience identifying edge cases, dependencies, integration risks, and impacts on existing functionality.\nGood understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nExperience using Jira and Confluence for backlog and requirement management.\nAbility to understand API integrations, system workflows, data flows, and technical dependencies.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and coordinate across cross-functional teams.\nMust-Have Skills\nBusiness Analysis\nRequirements Gathering & Functional Analysis\nWeb & Mobile Application Analysis\nFigma -
