Clipchamp\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build and operate the services and user experiences behind data-driven dashboards. The role involves developing Java Spring backend services and modernizing frontend applications from AngularJS to React, using Chart.js for most visualizations and D3 for selected use cases.\nThe ideal candidate will take ownership of features end to end, from API development and responsive interfaces to automated testing and production issue resolution, while working under the client's technical lead.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Backend Development\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain Java Spring backend services and web APIs.\nImplement APIs, data access, validation, and error handling.\nWork with relational databases, including MySQL, and search-backed analytics.\nBuild reliable services that support data-driven dashboards and reporting experiences.\n2. Frontend Development and Modernization\nBuild responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript.\nProgressively modernize existing AngularJS functionality to React.\nIntegrate frontend components with backend APIs and handle asynchronous data, validation, and error states.\nDevelop reusable components and maintainable user experiences.\n3. Data Visualization and Dashboards\nDevelop data visualizations using Chart.js.\nSelect appropriate chart types and interactions to communicate data clearly.\nUse D3 for specialized and interactive visualization requirements where appropriate.\nBuild dashboard features that support clear data presentation and usability.\n4. client's technical lead.\nRequired Technical Skills & Competencies\nProduction experience developing web applications.\nStrong expertise in at least one side of the stack, with the ability to contribute across both backend and frontend.\nBackend: Java, Spring, HTTP/REST APIs, SQL, and relational databases, particularly MySQL.\nFrontend: JavaScript, React, Node.js/npm, and component-based
