The role involves detailed analysis of tender documents, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, vendor coordination, and preparation of bid submissions in line with client specifications and company strategy.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Tender Review & Analysis\nReview tender documents, project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements for District Cooling Plants and Treatment Plants.\nIdentify scope gaps, deviations, and critical technical requirements.\nConduct preliminary design evaluations and propose value-engineering options.\n2. Quantity Take-Off & Cost Estimation\nPerform detailed mechanical quantity take-offs for:\nPrepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor works, and indirect costs.\nDevelop cost breakdown structures and pricing sheets as per tender format.\n3. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination\nPrepare and float RFQs to approved vendors for major mechanical packages.\nEvaluate technical and commercial offers and prepare comparison sheets.\nNegotiate prices and delivery terms to achieve optimal cost competitiveness.\n4. Technical Proposal Preparation\nDevelop technical submissions including methodology, equipment selections, compliance statements, and datasheets.\nCoordinate with design and engineering teams to finalize sizing, layouts, and schematic diagrams.\nEnsure tender compliance with local authority standards (DM, ADDC, DEWA, ADMCC, etc.).\n5.
