We are looking for a skilled professional to support our Design and Engineering Department in developing accurate structural drawings and design deliverables for engineering and fabrication projects.\nIn this role, you will work closely with structural engineers, project teams, clients, and design subcontractors to ensure drawings and models meet project specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards.\nKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare structural drawings, layouts, fabrication drawings, and other design deliverables in accordance with project requirements.\nDevelop and modify 2D drawings and 3D structural models using relevant engineering design software.\nInterpret engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.\nPrepare and update structural steel detailing drawings, including beams, columns, bracing, connections, and support structures.\nReview drawings and models to ensure dimensional accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.\nIncorporate design changes and revisions into drawings and maintain proper document control.\nCoordinate with structural engineers, project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design-related queries.\nSupport the preparation of material take-offs and bills of materials, where required.\nEnsure drawings are prepared in accordance with applicable project standards, codes, and drafting practices.\nAssist with technical queries and resolve drawing discrepancies in coordination with the engineering team.\nMaintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and design documentation.\nSupport fabrication and construction teams by providing clarification on structural drawings and detailing requirements.\nQualifications & ExperienceEducation\nDiploma or Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification.\nTechnical Qualifications\nStrong knowledge of structural steel detailing, drafting, and 2D/3D modelling.\nAbility to read and interpret structural drawings, engineering specifications, and fabrication details.\nUnderstanding of structural steel components, including beams, columns, bracing, base plates, and connections.\nFamiliarity with fabrication and construction drawing requirements.\nExperience\nRelevant experience in structural design, steel detailing, and drafting, preferably within oil & gas, EPC, fabrication, or industrial projects.\nExperience with structural steel fabrication drawings and engineering deliverables is an advantage.\nAutoCAD.\nTekla Structures, or other relevant 3D structural modelling software.\nStructural detailing or steel connection design software, where applicable.\nMicrosoft Office Suite.\nIf
