This role will combine technical expertise, customer engagement, and business development to drive the specification and adoption of IPEX industrial, plumbing, and mechanical piping solutions.\nThis position will require regular travel up to 50% within the United States.\n\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nPromote and educate design engineers, contractors, distributors, and end users on the benefits and applications of thermoplastic industrial, plumbing, and mechanical piping systems.\nBuild strong relationships with consulting engineers, OEMs, contractors, and code officials to establish IPEX as a preferred technical partner.\nDrive specification development and inclusion of IPEX products in corporate standards and project specifications to support business growth objectives.\nObtain product approvals and acceptance at state, municipal, and regulatory levels.\nDeliver technical presentations, educational seminars, and product training programs for internal and external stakeholders.\nProvide technical support and guidance to sales representatives, distributors, contractors, engineers, and customers.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance technical documentation, training materials, educational resources, and product support content.\nRepresent IPEX at industry associations, trade shows, conferences, and customer events to strengthen brand awareness and market presence.\nCollaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Research & Development, Engineering, Innovation, and Operations teams to support business initiatives and customer requirements.\nInvestigate product-related concerns, coordinate root cause analysis activities, and support timely customer responses and resolutions.\nMonitor industry trends, codes, standards, and competitive developments to identify opportunities for growth and product adoption.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Engineering\nMinimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within technical sales, applications engineering, construction products, piping systems, mechanical systems, or related industries\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused solutions\nCustomer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills\nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment\nStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 50% throughout the United States \nIPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
