La personne retenue travaillera sur divers projets impliquant une étroite collaboration avec de nombreux départements tels que les opérations, la maintenance, le contrôle de la qualité, la santé et la sécurité, la logistique, etc. Le travail sera à la fois dans les usines et au bureau corporatif.\nActivités principales\nDéfinir les besoins et les exigences des clients et les aider à la justification des projets.\n\nPréparer les spécifications et l’étendue des travaux.\n\nGérer les achats d’équipement. Rencontrer les fournisseurs, analyser les propositions de projets et faire des recommandations sur le choix de solutions.\n\nPlanifier et gérer les installations et les phases de mise en service des usines tout en s’assurant que les besoins d’affaires et les standards de sécurité sont observés.\n\nAssurer la qualité, la sécurité et la conformité du travail et des équipements avant et après la livraison et l’installation.\n\nSuivre les budgets alloués aux projets.\n\nFournir toutes les informations recueillies au client à la fin des projets (garanties, dessins, plans d’aménagement d’usine mis à jour).\n\nAssister à l’amélioration continue des méthodes du Département de l’ingénierie de projet.\n\nConnaissances et compétences nécessaires\nCompétences techniques :\n3 à 7 ans d'expérience en ingénierie, dans un milieu manufacturier ou industriel.\n\nBaccalauréat en génie mécanique.\n\nMembre de l’ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.\n\nBilingue en Français et Anglais\n\nExpérience avec Autocad\n\nÊtre disponible pour voyager en Amérique du Nord environ 30% du temps.\n\nDétenir un permis de conduire valide au Québec ou en Ontario.\n\nConnaissances générales en mécanique, pneumatique et hydraulique.\n\nLa connaissance des équipements d'extrusion et de moulage de plastique serait un atout.\n\nExcellentes aptitudes en communication.\n\nAptitudes personnelles :\nRigueur et sens de l’organisation personnelle.\n\nHabiletés de gestion et de planification d’équipes internes et externes.\n\nCapacité d’apprentissage; Évoluer dans un milieu technologique changeant.\n\nCommunicateur(trice) habile démontrant un penchant marqué pour le travail d’équipe.\n\nTrès motivé(e), polyvalent(e) et dévoué(e).\n\nCapacité à travailler de manière autonome, avec de fortes compétences en matière de motivation personnelle.\n\nExcellentes compétences en gestion de la relation client.\n\nVous cherchez un défi en gestion de projet et en ingénierie ? The project engineer will be preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects. The selected candidate will work on various projects involving close collaboration with many departments such as operations, maintenance, quality control, health and safety, logistics, etc. The work will be in both the plants and the corporate office at Nun’s Island, Montreal.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nDefine needs and requirements of the clients and help in justifying projects.\n\nPrepare specifications and scope of work.\n\nManage equipment purchases. Meet with suppliers, analyze proposals, and make recommendations on the solution choices.\n\nPlan and manage the installation and commissioning phases in our plants, while insuring that the corporate health and safety standards are observed.\n\nEnsure the quality, safety and conformity of work and equipment, before and after delivery and installation.\n\nFollow the financial budget of the projects.\n\nProvide close out information to the client at the end of the project (warranty, drawings, updates plant layout).\n\nAssist in the continuous improvement of the methods of the Project Engineering Department.\n\nQualifications & experience\nTechnical Skills:\n3-7 years of experience in engineering, in a manufacturing or industrial environments.\n\nBachelor of Mechanical Engineering.\n\nMember of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).\n\nExperience in Project Management\n\nExperience in new equipment installation / commissioning\n\nExperience with Autocad is a must\n\nBe available to travel within North America approximately 30% of the time.\n\nHold a valid driver's license in Quebec.\n\nKnowledge of extrusion and plastic molding equipment would be an asset.\n\nHighly motivated, versatile and dedicated.\n\nAbility to work independently, with strong skills in personal motivation.\n\nExcellent skills in customer relationship management.\n\nRigor and strong organizational skills.\n\nCapacity to learn in a changing and technological environment.\n\nSkilled communicator, with strong teamwork values.\n\nGeneral knowledge of mechanical concepts, pneumatics and hydraulics.\n\nYou are looking for a challenge in project management and engineering?
