That’s why Aliaxis are here to help create the safest, most effective, and reliable solutions for sustainable fluid management.\nThe Opportunity/Role\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of manufacturing plant and equipment within a fast-paced production environment. With a strong mechanical focus, the role will be responsible for fault finding, preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and optimise performance.\nPerform planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing plant and equipment.\nDiagnose faults, carry out repairs, and implement preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.\nEnsure all maintenance work is completed in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards, including isolation and LOTOTO procedures.\nSupport continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives to enhance operational performance, productivity, and asset reliability.\nContribute to major maintenance shutdowns, equipment installations, and engineering projects while working collaboratively across the wider manufacturing team.\nShift & Pay\n12 hour Panama shift pattern (inclusive of 12 hours day, night and weekend shifts)\nSalary: £51,275.08 per annum + £9,400 shift allowance\nRequirements\nStrong mechanical maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing environment, with basic electrical fault-finding capability.\nKnowledge of machinery safety, machine guarding, and safe working practices.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, engineering diagrams, and electrical schematics.\nProven fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical equipment.\nNVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent multi-skilled apprenticeship).\nExperience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, bearings, and rotating equipment.\nProficient in using CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.\nProactive, self-motivated approach with a focus on continuous improvement and equipment reliability.\nBenefits\nHoliday purchase scheme\nLife Assurance 6x annual salary\nCritical illness cover\nPension contribution up to 10%\nDental and healthcare cash plan\nEnhanced parental leave\nGreat discounts on local retailers and restaurants\nFantastic Health & Wellbeing package including an Employee Assistance Programme and access to My Strength\nCycle to work scheme\nPlus many more\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAliaxis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer who welcomes candidates and employees from all backgrounds.
