This is a dynamic role that requires a hands-on and energetic person with a high level of organisation and the ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining safe work practices and following procedures.\nWhat will you do?\nGeneral mechanical maintenance & repairs including preventative maintenance\n\nHydraulic & pneumatic maintenance & repairs\n\nWelding experience (MIG, TIG, stick) and machining are desirable but not essential\n\nAttend to call outs for breakdowns when required\n\nSpare parts ordering through store requisitions\n\nWork with Electrical support to diagnose and implement solutions\n\nCapital project works and continuous improvement tasks\n\nAt least 3-5 years’ work experience in industrial manufacturing\n\nJob recording in CMMS systems daily, using MEX\n\nStrictly following all required OH&S procedures\n\n About you\nBe a trade qualified (level 4) Fitting and Turning or dual trade qualified (highly regarded)\n\n3-5 years’ experience as an industrial Maintenance Fitter working in a similar role within a Manufacturing, Plastic, FMCG or Heavy Industrial environment)\n\nKnowledge or experience in extrusion, water process plant, raw materials handling, granulation, pumps, and associated equipment (highly desirable)\n\nBe hands on and flexible to be on call when needed to attend breakdowns.\n\nAre a team player with excellent communication skills both verbal and written\n\nDemonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance activities including annual shutdowns, breakdowns and preventative maintenance.\n\nComputer literate with experience using CMMS systems (MEX preferred)\n\nExceptional time management and coordination skills, able to prioritise and be agile with a high level of attention to detail.\n\nHave a current driver’s licence, own transport\n\nEWP, White Card and Forklift licence (advantageous).\n\nBe a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights.\n\nWhy join us?\nPaid overtime and call outs, uniform, uniform cleaning, and onsite parking provided\n\nA safe work environment with a strong focus on 'Go for Zero'\n\nWork for a business that cares about sustainability and impact\n\nIndustry-leading paid parental leave -
