In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of production equipment to keep our manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. As part of Australia's leading PVC pipe manufacturer, you'll play an important role in supporting reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across the site.\nWhether you're an experienced Maintenance Fitter or looking to build on your existing skills, this role offers the chance to work with a supportive team, gain exposure to a broad range of equipment, and further develop your technical expertise. It's a great opportunity to grow your career within a stable and well-established business.\nWhat will you do?\nConduct breakdown and immediate maintenance activities across the site and facilities.\n\nDiagnose and resolve equipment faults to minimise downtime and maintain operational performance.\n\nInstall, service, repair, and overhaul manufacturing machinery, conveyors, pumps, and associated plant equipment.\n\nIdentify maintenance issues and opportunities for improvement to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.\n\nFollow all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements, contributing to a safe and compliant workplace.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and support planned shutdowns, inspections, and maintenance schedules.\n\nWork collaboratively with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.\n\nAbout you\nTrade certification in mechanical fitting or related trade, or final year apprentice\n\nExcellent fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.\n\nLicenses: forklift, EWP, confined spaces\n\nAn understanding of hydraulic & pneumatics, water process plant and associated equipment\n\nWelding competence (Mig/Tig/Arc)\n\nExperience in CMMS\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.\n\nExceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing maintenance activities in a dynamic environment.\n\nA proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.\n\nA strong focus on safety and compliance, with a commitment to maintaining best-practice standards.\n\nWhy join us?
