We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario.\nLocation: Mississauga, ON\nPay: $36.00 - $43.00 per hour\nSchedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM\nIf you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy organizing, planning, and optimizing maintenance operations, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAs a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Maintenance Department through effective planning, scheduling, inventory control, and maintenance coordination.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPlan and coordinate maintenance work assignments in collaboration with the maintenance leadership team.\nAssist in the development and management of preventative maintenance schedules.\nManage inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of spare and replacement parts.\nCreate, update, and maintain work orders within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and CMMS platforms.\nOptimize preventative maintenance programs through detailed analysis and scheduling improvements.\nReview preventative and predictive maintenance findings and develop corrective action work orders.\nIdentify and document safety requirements, permits, and special procedures for maintenance activities.\nCoordinate with vendors and suppliers as required.\nSupport Health & Safety, Environmental Management Systems, 5S initiatives, and energy conservation programs.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nQualifications:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of industrial maintenance operations and equipment.\nExperience using CMMS or maintenance management software.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nKnowledge of inventory management and spare parts control.\nExperience with 5S methodologies and continuous improvement practices.\nExcellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nWorking knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.\nPreferred:\nExperience within the plastics manufacturing industry.\nWorking Environment:\nThis position is based primarily within a manufacturing facility and requires:\nFrequent walking and standing.\nLifting, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 lbs.\nExposure to heat, dust, noise, and industrial equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities.\nWhy Join IPEX?\nCompetitive hourly wage of $36.00 - $43.00\nStable full-time weekday schedule\nIndustry-leading manufacturing environment\nOpportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives\nCollaborative and people-focused workplace culture\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nIPEX is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
