They will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Health & Safety, and other cross-functional teams to meet production objectives while supporting the growth and development of their team.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nLead daily production operations to safely deliver customer requirements while optimizing productivity, quality, inventory levels, labor utilization, and manufacturing costs. \nDrive operational excellence through production planning, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. \nAnalyze production metrics, downtime, and operational results to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions. \nEnsure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and environmental, health, and safety requirements, while championing a culture of safety and continuous improvement. \nOversee the management of raw materials, packaging materials, regrind, and non-hazardous waste in accordance with facility procedures. \nLead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and plant employees through performance management, training, succession planning, talent development, and recruitment activities. \nCollaborate with Quality, Maintenance, HSE, and other cross-functional teams to achieve production objectives and improve operational performance. \nLead and sustain initiatives such as Lean manufacturing practices and 5S programs to maintain an organized, efficient, and high-performing workplace. \nManage departmental budgets and expenditures and provide operational reporting to support business decisions.\nQualifications & Experience\nCompletion of college and/or university in engineering or manufacturing or equivalent experience\n5 years of progressive production leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to manage priorities and deliver results\nProven experience leading teams, developing talent, managing employee relations, and influencing organizational performance\nSolid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma experience is considered an asset\nStrong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality systems, performance management, and resource allocation\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and good general computer skills. \nExcellent leadership, communication, problem solving and decision-making abilities\nIPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
