This role requires the incumbent to have experiences in project execution, technical support, documentation and reporting, coordination, risk management, and compliance. The work will be in both the plants and corporate office with close collaboration across departments such as operations, maintenance, quality control, health and safety, logistics, etc.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nAssist in planning, coordination, execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, timeline, and quality standards.\nProvide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including engineering design, analysis, and troubleshooting.\nPrepare and review project documentation, including specifications, drawings, reports, and progress updates.\nCollaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project implementation and effective communication.\nIdentify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project performance against established objectives.\nEnsure project compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical engineering\nHas obtained or working towards obtaining a P. Eng designation\nMinimum 3 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment or a related industrial setting\nSkilled in managing internal and external teams\nKnowledge of extrusion and plastic molding equipment is an asset, with ability to analyze mechanical and electrical drawings for machinery\nKnowledge of computers, AutoCAD & CAD systems and 3D perception\nStrong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills\nProven ability to lead and influence both internal and external project team\nAdaptable, highly motivated and continuous learner, with strong analytical and problem solving abilities\nGeneral knowledge of mechanical concepts, pneumatics, and hydraulics\nHolds a valid driver’s license and able to travel within Ontario\nThe compensation for this position is between $70,800 and $88,500 CAN annually, based on experience and qualifications.\nIPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
