This role partners closely with finance and business stakeholders to drive tax efficiency, support cross-border transactions, and provide guidance on tax-related opportunities and risks.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance with transfer pricing policies and oversee preparation of related documentation.\n\nMonitor adherence to corporate tax policies and regulatory requirements across LATAM.\n\nManage tax audits, disputes, and litigation processes within the region.\n\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate tax risks while supporting regional tax strategy execution.\n\nParticipate in tax structuring initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and other strategic projects.\n\nAdvise business and finance teams on the tax implications of transactions and operational decisions.\n\nProvide technical tax guidance to local finance, accounting, and tax leaders, coordinating with external advisors when needed.\n\nMonitor tax legislation changes and communicate impacts to key stakeholders across the region.\n\nIdentify tax-saving opportunities aligned with business objectives and operational needs.\n\nRequirements\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.\n\nTax Specialization, Master's Degree in Economics, or equivalent professional certification preferred.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in English\n\nExperience\n5+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, international tax, or tax advisory roles.\n\nPrevious experience supporting multiple countries within the LATAM region.\n\nStrong experience managing tax audits, tax controversies, and tax risk assessments.\n\nExperience with transfer pricing compliance and documentation.\n\nExposure to cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and tax planning projects is highly desirable.\n\nExperience working within multinational or complex international business environments.\n\nLocation: Escazú, San José, Costa Rica.\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid.\nSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
