We offer professionals opportunities to train in the leading technologies, make an impact within the industry and acquire valuable new skills whether on client sites or in one of our regional offices.\nPosition Overview \nAlign is seeking a hands-on Procore Systems Analyst to support, optimize, and continuously improve the connection between our data center construction project management platform (Procore) and our cloud-based accounting system (Sage Intacct). \nThis role bridges operations, finance, and technology, ensuring both platforms work in sync to deliver accurate data, streamlined workflows, and actionable insights for leadership. The SME will go beyond initial integration, taking full ownership of system administration, task management, user permissions, reporting, training, and process optimization to ensure long-term adoption and operational excellence. \nThe ideal candidate will be an operational problem-solver with a strong grasp of construction/data center financial workflows, accounting processes, and cross-department coordination. You’ll oversee integration functionality and act as the in-house expert - leading process improvements, task oversight, training programs, and reporting initiatives that drive efficiency and informed decision-making. \nThis hybrid role will work 2 days per week in our Sterling, VA office. \nThis is a full-time salaried position offering $100,000 to $115,000 (commensurate with experience), comprehensive benefits, paid time off, paid training, and performance-based bonuses. \nKey Responsibilities\nOperational Integration Leadership \nServe as a primary operational owner and SME of the Procore-Sage Intacct integration and system administration, ensuring accurate and efficient data flow between systems. \nPartner with project management, accounting, and leadership teams to align system processes with operational and financial goals. \nOversee the full lifecycle of integration projects - from requirements gathering to launch, maintenance, and continuous improvement. \nTraining, Change Management & SME Support \nTrain project managers, finance teams, and operations staff on Tasks tool usage, system workflows, and integration best practices. \nServe as the go-to resource for troubleshooting, best practices, and post-integration operational guidance. \nMaintain comprehensive documentation and SOPs for task workflows, permissions, system configurations, and integration processes. \nTask Management & Oversight \nCreate, assign, and track project tasks in Procore using the Tasks tool to ensure accountability and visibility. \nSet due dates, categories, and statuses for tasks; integrate them into users’ “My Open Items” dashboards for better tracking. \nMonitor task progress to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables. \nUser Permissions & Access Control \nConfigure and manage permission templates to ensure appropriate access levels across teams. \nAssign users to roles with Standard or Admin access to the Tasks tool. \nCustomize permissions for unique project or departmental needs. \nSystem Configuration & Maintenance \nEnable and configure the Tasks tool for new and existing projects via Project Admin settings. \nCreate and manage task categories in the Company Admin tool to organize workflows. \nEnsure the Tasks tool is active in project templates for consistent deployment. \nWorkflow & Process Optimization \nStreamline finance and operations workflows (AP, AR, job costing, budgeting, reporting) to reduce manual entry and errors. \nIdentify and implement operational best practices to enhance efficiency across departments. \nLeverage automation tools and third-party connectors to support scalable growth. \nReporting & Dashboard Management \nTasks tool usage, system workflows, and integration best practices. \nServe as the go-to resource for troubleshooting, best practices, and post-integration operational guidance. \nMaintain comprehensive documentation and SOPs for task workflows, permissions, system configurations, and integration processes.\nRequired Qualifications\n4-6 years of hands-on experience managing Procore and Sage Intacct system administration in an operational or project management capacity. \nBackground in accounting, finance, or operational leadership (CPA, CMA, or construction accounting certification a plus). \nStrong understanding of construction accounting concepts (job costing, WIP, commitments, retainage, etc.). \nProven experience streamlining workflows, managing permissions, and improving cross-team collaboration. \nProficiency with Excel, data reconciliation, and system-driven reporting. \nStrong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with related administration and integrations (e.g., Sage Intacct, Agave, & Avalara). \nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or equivalent work experience). \nCandidates with Procore Certification in areas such as Project Manager, Project Manager: Financial Management, Project Manager: Portfolio Financials \nFamiliarity with project management best practices in the construction or data center industry. \nTo support a fair, consistent, and high-quality hiring experience, some interviews may be recorded.
