This role combines technical AWS expertise with financial analysis to identify cost savings opportunities, implement cloud financial management best practices, and drive operational efficiency across complex AWS environments.\nResponsibilities\nIdentify and implement AWS cost optimization opportunities, including rightsizing, Reserved Instances, and Savings Plans\nEstablish and enforce cloud cost allocation and tagging strategies\nConfigure cost anomaly detection, alerting, and reporting capabilities\nAnalyze recommendations from AWS Trusted Advisor and AWS Cost Optimization Hub\nDeliver monthly cost optimization reports and executive recommendations\nEducate customer teams on FinOps best practices and cloud financial management\nSupport implementation of FinOps Foundation frameworks and standards\nCollaborate with engineering and finance teams to improve cloud governance\nQualifications\n3+ years of AWS cloud operations, FinOps, or cloud financial management experience\nStrong understanding of AWS billing, Cost Explorer, CUR, Savings Plans, and Reserved Instances\nExperience with cloud cost optimization and governance programs\nKnowledge of AWS Organizations and multi-account environments\nExcellent analytical and communication skills\nFinOps Certified Practitioner preferred\nAWS certification
