Together.\nThe Remote Data Analyst will serve as an embedded analytics partner and subject matter expert to operational leaders across the organization. This role is responsible for transforming complex operational and performance data into actionable insights, dashboards, and recommendations that support business decisions, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives. The analyst will work across multiple data domains and systems, identifying trends, diagnosing process breakdowns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and measure improvements. This position plays a critical role in elevating data-driven decision making across operational functions and enabling the organization to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.Job Responsibilities:\nPerform routine and ad-hoc analyses across operational datasets to uncover trends, variance drivers, root causes, and performance risks.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to enable transparency, monitoring, and proactive decision-making across business units.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, IT, Quality, Compliance, Product) to investigate issues and develop data solutions.\n\nTranslate complex analytical findings into clear stories, business implications, and recommendations that influence strategic and operational decisions.\n\nSupport efforts to standardize data definitions, data quality checks, and KPI frameworks across operational domains.\n\nServe as an analytics resource and data steward for initiatives involving new systems, workflows, process redesign, or operational transformations.\n\nDevelop analytical models and forecasting tools to support capacity planning, performance improvement, and strategic initiative evaluation.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate data collection, reporting, and workflow processes to increase efficiency and reduce repetitive manual effort.\n\nCreate visual storytelling artifacts that communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nSupport regulatory, compliance, or audit-related reporting as needed, ensuring accuracy and integrity of operational data.\n\nOther duties and projects not listed above.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities: This is an IC role, no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nJob Requirements:Experience:\nRequired:\n3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operations analytics.\n\nExperience using data to support process improvement, operations strategy, or performance management.\n\nUnderstanding of calculation methodology, technical specifications related to Star Rating (HEDIS, CAHPS/HOS Survey, Admin, Part D) and overall Medical Advantage Quality Programs.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience in a healthcare, insurance, or regulated environment.\n\nExperience working with cross-functional or matrixed organizations.\n\nEducation:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.\n\n4+ years of direct relevant experience can be used to replace degree requirement.\n\nPreferred:n/a\nTraining:\nRequired: n/aPreferred: Formal training in data analysis, data management, Lean/Six Sigma, or BI tools.\nSpecialized Skills:\nRequired:\nProficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.\n\nExperience with a Business Intelligence platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.\n\nAbility to clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nUnderstanding of core operational concepts (e.g., workflows, KPIs, SLAs, process improvement).\n\nPreferred:\nExperience with Python, R, or advanced analytics tools.\n\nKnowledge of data governance or master data management principles.\n\nExperience in automation, workflow optimization, or building scalable data pipelines.\n\nFamiliarity with Medicare Advantage, value-based care, or payer operations.Essential Physical Functions:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
