S/he will provide guidance and oversight for medical equipment planning, specifications, procurement, deployment and operation to the supported hospitals.\nEJHN comprises six non-profit, charitable hospitals that have a long history of providing services to patients from East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza. The EJHN program will support hospitals within the network to improve quality of services for patients from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.\nDepartment: Global Programs\nPosition Reports To: Procurement Specialist\nLocation: East Jerusalem\nSalary Range: ILS 160,031 to ILS 177,573 per annum\nActual compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, skills, and alignment with organizational compensation policies.\nResponsibilities\nEngage in the development, review, and analysis of medical equipment planning for procurement under the Momentum project as appropriate for purpose.\nCo-define technical specifications of medical equipment as related to clinical needs per hospital with relevant parties.\nPerform needs assessment for requested medical equipment per hospital and co-define utilization projection with relevant parties.\nPrioritize order of listed equipment per approved criteria withing budget for every hospital \nReview procurement documentation to make sure compliance with needs requested \nParticipate in procurement committee and consult for matters related \nPerform research on medical technologies as they may relate to defined gaps in technology performance within the hospitals network\nCodevelop a plan with every hospital’s relevant parties for the proper installation, and defined operations parameters and training for final testing before transfer \nMonitor, evaluate and report on the progress of project implementation as related to medical equipment and provide technical-level assistance to hospitals where needed throughout cycle.\nAssist in receiving procedures with hospitals’ teams and support equipment Installation, calibration, end-user training (clinical and non-clinical staff), commissioning, and maintenance, in the hospitals.\nAssist technical staff in every hospital for proper management of medical equipment quality\nProvide support on clinical application and guidelines of operation, safety,…etc.\nImplement an exit strategy that enhances continuity and sustainability in utilization.\nUndertake other tasks that may be assigned. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related fields.\nRelevant hands-on experience in the biomedical field no less than 5 years\nGood knowledge and working experience in medical technology selection, specifications assignment to different medical equipment, procurement, installation, documentation and training.\nTechnological and computer proficiency\nExcellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.\nGood command in performing statistical analysis\nOrganized, focused, and detailed oriented\nExperience working in a lab and/or hospital preferred\nExcellent independent worker and collaborator\nExcellent interpersonal, organizational, multitasking and communication skills.\nAbility to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform.\nAbility to identify solutions for complex problems\nStrong skills in facilitation, coordination and orientation\nAbility to manage and facilitate trainings\nCritical-thinking skills to compare and contrast your options and choose the most viable one so you can solve problems and make decisions\nPreferred Qualifications\nDeadline for applications is Thursday 8th October, 2026.
