The Senior Integration Developer will work closely with lead engineers, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders, contribute to technical design decisions, and provide guidance to junior developers while delivering high-quality integration solutions aligned with organizational objectives\nIntegration Design & Development - 55%\nDesign, build, and maintain integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.\nDevelop REST/JSON and SOAP/XML API integrations between internal systems, SaaS applications, vendors, and the Alimentiv Data Platform.\nImplement messaging and event-driven patterns, including queues, topics/subscriptions, publish/subscribe, and dead-letter handling.\nBuild serverless functions in Python and/or C# for transformation, orchestration, and custom connectors.\nDesign integrations for reliability, including retries, idempotency, error handling, and message ordering.\nOptimize integrations for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\nLogging, Monitoring & Support - 10%\nImplement centralized logging and monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.\nBuild alerts, dashboards, and health checks to track integration performance and failures.\nUse correlation IDs and structured logging for end-to-end traceability across systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production integration issues, including root cause analysis.\nSupport incident, problem, and change management processes for integration services.\nAutomation, DevOps & Multi-Cloud 10%\nAutomate build and deployment of integration components using Terraform and Git-based CI/CD.\nProvision and manage integration infrastructure using infrastructure as code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform).\nDevelop reusable integration templates, patterns, and shared components.\nDevelop automated unit, integration, and regression tests for integration workflows.\nBuild and support integrations using AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway where required by clients or vendors.\nSecurity, Compliance & Governance - 10%\nSecure integrations using Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, OAuth 2.0, and Azure Key Vault.\nEnsure no credentials or secrets are hardcoded, in line with Alimentiv IT security policies.\nEnsure compliance with GxP, GDPR/HIPAA, and related regulatory frameworks.\nMaintain audit trails and support validation documentation for integrations with regulated systems.\nDevelop and maintain integration documentation, interface specifications, and an integration catalog.\nConduct code reviews, performance tuning, and security reviews of integration workloads.\nStakeholder Engagement & Leadership - 15%\nParticipate in technical design reviews, support junior developers, and promote integration best practices.\nWork with cross-functional teams, application owners, vendors, and stakeholders to gather, define, and refine integration requirements.\nCollaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure integration solutions support organizational objectives.\nRecommend the right integration approach (API, messaging, event-driven, or batch) to meet business and technical requirements.\nContribute to integration architecture, technical roadmaps, and technology evaluations.\nIdentify opportunities to improve integration processes, performance, reliability, and efficiency, and recommend solutions to technical and functional leaders.\nQualifications\nJob Experience & Education Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)\nAnd\n5-8 years of experience designing and developing enterprise integration solutions (APIs, messaging, event-driven and serverless architectures)\nOther:\nExpert-level proficiency in Azure Integration Services, including Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and API Management. Strong experience with logging and monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics (KQL). Exposure to equivalent AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway. Strong programming skills in Python and/or C#, and working knowledge of SQL. Experience designing and consuming REST APIs using JSON, XML, OpenAPI, and OAuth 2.0. Working knowledge of CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep). Experience integrating with data platforms such as Databricks or Microsoft Fabric is an asset. Experience in life sciences or healthcare industries is a strong plus. Good understanding of GxP, GDPR/HIPAA, and applicable CFR/CTR/CTD regulations. Demonstrated success working with IT, business, and vendor stakeholders. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
