Ababa, Ethiopia\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nERP Support\r\n\nProvide first-line support for ERP users and routine ERP issues.\n\nTroubleshoot ERP modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and POS.\n\nAssist users with ERP transactions, workflows, reports, and system functions.\n\nManage user accounts, roles, permissions, and access rights.\n\nAssist with ERP configuration, workflows, automated actions, and reports.\n\nSupport testing of ERP features, customizations, and system upgrades.\n\nAssist with ERP data entry, validation, extraction, and reporting.\n\nDocument common ERP issues and solutions.\n\nProvide basic ERP user training and orientation.\n\nEscalate complex issues to the Senior IT Officer or ERP development partner.\n\nIT Support & Infrastructure\r\n\nProvide first-line technical support to employees.\n\nInstall, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.\n\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, email, internet, and connectivity issues.\n\nSupport Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and other corporate applications.\n\nAssist with LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic network troubleshooting.\n\nSupport employee onboarding and offboarding, including account and equipment setup.\n\nMaintain IT equipment and software inventories.\n\nRecord and track IT support requests and incidents.\n\nAssist with routine server, network, storage, and system administration.\n\nSupport data backup and recovery procedures.\n\nMonitor system availability and performance.\n\nPerform software updates, security patches, and antivirus/endpoint protection updates.\n\nSupport file servers, shared folders, printers, CCTV, biometric attendance, and access-control systems where applicable.\n\nDevelopment & System Enhancement\r\n\nAssist with simple internal tools, scripts, and automation solutions.\n\nDevelop basic Python scripts and ERP customizations under supervision.\n\nAssist with XML/QWeb configuration and development.\n\nSupport API integrations between ERP and third-party applications.\n\nAssist with database queries, data extraction, and report development.\n\nParticipate in software testing and deployment.\n\nIdentify repetitive processes that can be automated and communicate improvement opportunities.\n\nIT Security & Documentation\r\n\nFollow company IT security policies and procedures.\n\nSupport user access, password, and account controls.\n\nEnsure systems receive required security updates.\n\nReport suspicious activity, security incidents, and unauthorized access.\n\nSupport antivirus, endpoint protection, backup, and other basic security controls.\n\nMaintain records of IT assets, users, systems, licenses, and configurations.\n\nPrepare IT support and incident reports.\n\nDevelop user guides and basic technical documentation.\n\nSupport digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nQualifications and Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 1 year of relevant experience in IT support, system administration, ERP support, or software development.\n\nERP experience is highly desirable.\n\nBasic knowledge of Python, XML/QWeb, SQL, or other programming languages is an advantage.\n\nUnderstanding of networking, databases, operating systems, and cybersecurity.\n\nExperience in trading, import-export, distribution, logistics, or a corporate environment
