All final hiring decisions are made by our hiring managers and recruitment teams.\n Your day-to-day\nLead cyber security Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities, including:\nNavigate and interpret Operational Technology (OT) cyber security industry standards, including identifying and understanding the purpose for revision changes;\n\nArchitect OT cyber security programs from scratch;\n\nConsult with clients as an OT Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME);\n\nReview client OT cyber security programs to compare against any implemented industry standards;\n\nReview and guide clients to implement defensive cyber security architecture best practices;\n\nReview and guide the implementation of risk assessments against client OT systems;\n\nDevelop and conduct organizational cyber security training to clients.\n\nMentor and coach junior and intermediate staff and review their deliverables when conducting Alithya Cyber Security Services;\n\nContinuously contribute to and improve the processes and procedures of Alithya’s OT cyber security practice;\n\nSuggest new OT cyber security services and contribute to their development;\n\nContribute to sales and marketing initiatives, including attending conferences, presenting webinars, writing blogs, writing proposals, estimating project costs, and meeting with potential clients;\n\nParticipate in cyber security research and development (R&D) activities, including software and hardware development;\n\nPerform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) as required with the ability to diagnose issues and communicate solutions effectively;\n\nWork independently as well as a member of a team in a project-based environment as needed.\n\n Keys to your success\nPost-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field;\n\nCISSP certification;\n\n8+ years of experience working in the field of cyber security, preferably in an OT environment, I&C, manufacturing, or nuclear;\n\nExperience implementing CSA N290.7 standard, NEI 08-09 and NEI 13-10, IEC 62645, ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82 or other OT-related cyber security standards;\n\nExperience implementing defensive cyber security architecture best practices;\n\nExperience writing cyber security governance documentation;\n\nExperience conducting risk assessments to assess and remediate the risks of a system;\n\nExperience reviewing and coaching junior or intermediate staff when preparing client deliverables;\n\nAbility to obtain a Level 2 Secret Security Clearance from the Government of Canada (Standard on Security Screening- Canada.ca);\n\nComfortable in client-facing environments with a high level of attention to detail.\n\nExtra edge\nProfessional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation and additional cyber security certifications, including GICSP or ISA/IEC 62443;\n\nExperience with OPG or Bruce Power Engineering Change Control (ECC), consulting with and guiding clients, presenting and delivering cyber security training, and estimating project effort while supporting new client engagements;\n\nCSIS Level 2 security clearance, preferably at OPG or Bruce Power;\n\nWorking knowledge of any of the following:\nHarmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (HTRA) methodology;\n\nIndustrial Control Systems (ICS), computer Operating Systems (OS) and Virtual Machine (VM) technologies;\n\nThe Purdue model;\n\nICS communication protocols, ICS security components, physical and logical hardening controls.\n\nLanguage skills\nEnglish: Proficient","description_format":"text","description_chars":4200,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":8,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":true,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Cybersecurity","Information Security","Management Consulting","Analytics & BI Consulting"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-02T10:05:06Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"CA","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Positions approved through LMIA in 12 months: 8","filings_12m":8,"filings_prev_12m":10,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"High Wage;
