This position will also support, , enhance, maintain, and upgrade custom developed applications. The Corporate Applications Full Stack Developer is a full-time, contract role located in Southfield, Michigan and reports to the Application Development & Platform Support Manager. Paid relocation and benefits are not available for this contract position.\nWhat you’ll do\nIntroduce leading edge processes and tools into the development capabilities of the firm by collaborating with the Business Analysis, Project Management and Business Relationship Management teams (including application support) to define, develop, and deliver new capabilities\nKey contributor to efforts that incorporate (new? existing? new and existing?) Application Development tools, techniques and processes into our overall architecture development and design efforts\nAutomate and implement key development processes and promote the adoption of application management and monitoring tools.\nCollaborate on development plans for management and monitoring of application development, support and maintenance initiatives\nSupport the Change Management processes involved in development and upgrades of our enterprise applications and integrations.\nCommunicate projects and support related information to the IT leadership and business staff in a polished, professional manner\nAdditional responsibilities as identified. This description is not designed to encompass a comprehensive listing of required activities, duties or responsibilities.\nWhat you’ll bring\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Business or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree(s)\nMinimum of three (3) years in Application analysis, development or a related field, and significant exposure to software development best practices and processes\nExperience in Microsoft Tech Stack (.net), Microsoft Azure Cloud Services\nHands-on experience in UI/UX development is highly desirable including experience in React JS\nHands-on experience in prompting and evaluating LLMs (Claude, Co-Pilot, Gemini) including few-shot prompting and structured outputs\nWorking knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), grounding strategies, and common LLM failure modes (hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage) and Agentic AI\nAbility to translate business requirements into prompt strategies and product requirements with measurable outcomes (quality, safety, speed, and cost)\nDemonstrated interpersonal skills; proven ability to work effectively with various personnel styles; ability to effectively convey and obtain buy-in for holistic strategies at all levels and functions in the organization\nMust be process and detail oriented, but able to grasp the big picture.
