Accountant

Alkaffary Group is seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to join our financial team.

Location: Maadi Street, Cairo - Egypt (preference will be given to candidates residing in the area or nearby locations).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and presentation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Work on preparing and monitoring the budget, analyzing variances between actual and planned figures.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and collections using accounting systems.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods by providing required financial data and reports.
• Stay up to date with the latest accounting regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Work efficiently with an ERP system to manage and record financial transactions (prior experience with ERP systems is preferred).

Required Software Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and financial data analysis.
