This role partners with Sales, Rev Ops, Legal, Finance, and Accounting to ensure deals are accurate and executed in alignment with company policies. The Deal Desk Analyst contributes to deal analysis, system updates, and reporting while operating within established guidelines. Work is performed with moderate independence, with a focus on building business acumen and deal support capabilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities & Duties:\nProcess and validate standard deal requests including quoting, pricing configuration, and order form preparation.\n\nReview incoming deal submissions for completeness, policy compliance, and routing requirements prior to analyst review.\n\nSupport senior analysts on complex deal packages including data gathering, document preparation, and Salesforce/CPQ updates.\n\nServe as the first point of contact for standard Sales inquiries related to quote building, pricing, product configuration, and quote status.\n\nMaintain deal records and documentation with a high degree of accuracy across CRM and CPQ systems; submit, track, and manage Jira tickets with EA.\n\nAssist with contract and order form administration including version tracking, template management, and execution coordination.\n\nGenerate routine deal desk reports and dashboards tracking queue volume, turnaround times, and open approvals.\n\nLearn and apply deal desk policies, discount governance frameworks, and approval matrices with increasing independence over time.\n\nParticipate in team process improvement initiatives and contribute to documentation of standard operating procedures.\n\nQualifications:\n1+ years of experience in deal desk, sales operations or support, or a business operations role\n\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field or equivalent work experience\n\nHigh attention to detail and a structured approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with Sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\nEagerness to learn SaaS commercial concepts including pricing, deal structures, and contract basics.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM a plus.\n\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\n\nDesired Skills:\nSaaS or FinTech exposure is a plus.\n\nExposure to complex Product and Pricing structures\n\nFamiliarity with quote-to-cash processes\n\nExperience supporting Sales Orgs or Operations, Revenue Accounting, or Invoicing\n\nIntermediate Excel, GSuite, SFDC skills including data and file ownership\n\nThe salary range for this position is: $56,800 - $71,000Cool Things to Know\nNot Just Any Company: Alkami has an awesome diverse and inclusive environment.
