This individual is able to independently solve complex technical problems that arise without enrolling senior level assistance. The Senior Technical Consultant is an experienced and proven Technical Consultant, serving as technical expert for a key ALL4 Technical Service Area (any revenue producing subset of our core service areas) and having established recognition within their technical, peer, and regulatory communities. This individual actively seeks opportunities to increase ALL4’s visibility through technical presentations and other venues and is responsible for driving existing and new business revenues generated within those venues. Senior Technical Consultants have extensive relationships with clients and partners that allow them to drive work that can be delegated to two or more project team members at a given time. This individual will join a team of environmental and process safety professionals who are committed to furthering our mission of being a nationally recognized consulting company shaping environmental responsibility and creating distinction for employees, clients, and partners.\nLocation: U.S.-based, flexible. Preferred: Gulf Coast Region.\nTravel (20-30%): Regional travel to client sites may be required.\nRequirements\nDemonstrate subject matter expertise in key regulatory or technical service areas and general regulatory and compliance knowledge.\nExpert level knowledge of multiple key Technical Areas. Senior Technical Consultants can hold technical expertise across an industry as well, provided that the industry is far-reaching and is a strategic market for ALL4.\nWill have served chemical, oil and gas, refining, midstream, or similar processing industries\nTransfer knowledge and facilitate training to increase overall ALL4 technical depth and understanding.\nAbility to prepare and execute high-level technical work individually, with the capacity to direct others on how to do the same.\nMaintain in-depth knowledge that allows for a nuanced understanding of a Technical Area beyond what would be apparent to an entry or mid-level employee.\nBuild effective teams and enroll members as necessary. Can communicate all facets of day-to-day work within the Technical Area to both internal teams and clients.\nEducate the company on the obligations and considerations of existing clients and prospects within a Technical Area.\nResponsible for defining and suggesting actions that ALL4 can take to expand revenue within a Technical Area.\nPrioritize client engagement through routine and repeating outreach, in-person connection, and intentional sharing of ALL4 services and capabilities.\nEstablish and maintain relationships with industry technical experts/peers, and provide technical interpretation, review, and strategic analysis of consensus standards and Federal, state, and local regulations for clients.\nParticipate in business development opportunities related to area of expertise and has significant sales goals.\nAbility to utilize critical thinking skills and decision making for complicated issues with high visibility and ALL4/client liability.\nPrepare and present conference papers or presentations and be responsible for business related activity resulting from those presentations.\nConsistently and reliably meet or exceed utilization (~80%) goals and profit targets.\nDevelop technical approach and cost assumptions for complex proposals and scope of work documents to attain project work and to meet schedules and contract requirements.\nUtilize ALL4 project management support systems to ensure project profitability and to satisfy client deliverable and scope of work requirements.\nAssume technical responsibility and maintain routine and timely communication with all internal and external project participants.\nManage annual client revenue targets determined by the leadership team.\nPlan, organize, and execute projects within technical discipline, while serving as clients’ primary point of contact.\nEnsure project compliance with ALL4 Quality Assurance guidelines.\nDemonstrate a high-level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.\nMay be required to coordinate staff.\nPerform other related duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications\nEngineering (ChE or ME preferred) or applicable science degree and collective experiences equivalent to >5 years of consulting or industry experience in facility siting including modeling (Phast) and computational risk models.
