Licensed electricians handle all electrical work beyond the scope authorized for multi-craft technicians. This is an immediate opening.\nEssential Functions\nTroubleshoot and repair receptacles, lighting, breakers, panels, motors and controls in accordance with the NEC.\nFollow electrical safety practices (lockout/tagout and NFPA 70E) and mentor Zone Technicians on their authorization limits.\nSupport electrical preventive maintenance and follow-up on condition-monitoring alerts.\nDocument work and materials on the mobile app.\nApply NFPA 70E arc-flash practices, including hazard assessment, approach boundaries and arc-rated PPE.\nVerify the absence of voltage (test before touch) with properly rated meters before working on any circuit or equipment.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, one-line drawings and wiring diagrams.\nCompetencies\nElectrical troubleshooting and NEC-compliant repair\nElectrical safety leadership\nMentoring and technical guidance\nAccurate documentation\nArc-flash and shock-hazard awareness\nSupervisory Responsibility\nNone required for this position\nWork Environment\nField-based work in barracks and housing facilities, including roofs, attics, mechanical rooms and occupied residential rooms.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nLifting up to 50 lb.\nClimbing ladders and working on roofs, in attics and in mechanical rooms.\nExposure to heat, cold and outdoor weather.\nDriving a service vehicle between buildings.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nFull-time and part-time positions available. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, daytime. Shifts may require some evening or weekend work, and this position participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency escalations as duty lead.\nTravel\nDaily local travel between buildings on the installation.\nExperience\n5+ years of commercial or multifamily electrical troubleshooting and repair.\nPreferred:\nPanel and branch-circuit repair, GFCI/AFCI, lighting and motor controls.\nFamiliarity with low-voltage systems.\nExperience with arc-flash hazard assessments and equipment labeling.\nExperience with electrical test equipment (multimeters, insulation testers and thermal imaging).\nExperience working on Department of Defense (DoD) installations, contracts or programs is a plus.\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or GED plus completion of an apprenticeship or trade program.\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications\nJourneyman electrician license (Kentucky or Tennessee) in good standing required; master license preferred.\nNFPA 70E training required.\nOSHA 10 certification required.\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\nMust be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access.\nDrug Free Workplace\nAll Native Group is a Drug Free Workplace.
