We are committed to connecting people to Medora through positive, life-changing experiences.\nSummary\nAs a member of the lodging team, a Night Auditor will report to the Lodging Manager. A Night Auditor will have the primary responsibility to operate the front desk during the night shift, as well as assist guests with inquiries during the night.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nWork with numbers and reports. \nHandle all guest issues as they arise during the night hours. \nTreat requests with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner. \nAble to make and answer telephone calls. \nMaintain knowledge of hotel policies including room rates, discounts, special offerings, and events. \nMaintain knowledge of upcoming events, local areas, and hotel offerings. \nEnsure the lobby and shared areas are neat and orderly which may include occasional, sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.\nDisinfect the workspace. \nRestock toiletries upon need. \nParticipate in workplace safety training sessions. \nParticipate in workplace safety meetings. \nPromote sales of events and services by providing all guests with enthusiastic and accurate information for these offerings. \nInteract and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with TRMF values. \nPerform other related duties as required. \nSupervisory Responsibility -None.\nRequirements\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nReliable, ready, and on time for every shift. \nStrong active listening skills. \nAble to take initiative. \nAble to be flexible. \nStrong time management skills. \nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail. \nExcellent technical capacity. \nProvide outstanding guest service. \nRequired Education and Experience\nMust give exceptional service to all guests. \nMust be able to troubleshoot and create solutions if needed. \nMust be able to work the overnight shift. \nAbility to work without being supervised. \nMust have good judgment or discernment when talking to guests. \nMust have excellent computer/typing skills to ensure quick and efficient customer service for our guests. \nFluent in English, bilingual a plus. \nWork Environment\nThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Continuously works indoors, and alone. Occasionally, work with others.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk and have hand/eye coordination. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and have repetitive use of hands and arms. Occasionally required to bend, climb, reach overhead, grasp, lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus to determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned, close proximity use of computer software and ability to determine safety of workplace surroundings for themselves and guests.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time seasonal position.
