The candidate will work in a fast-paced engineering environment where projects may be derived from a number of delivery methods including conventional Bid-Build and Design-Build projects. If you think you are an innovative team-player and want to shape your community, join our WGI team today!\nWGI offers a complete Benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD & STD, Life Insurance, 401k with match, PTO, Holidays, HSA with company contribution, Pet insurance, and Employee assistance program.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross sections, construction and maintenance of traffic details\nAssist in the creation of engineering documents including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports\nGenerate construction plans using Microstation/GEOPAK and 3D Corridor Modeling\nPerform construction quantity estimates\nCross-train in other transportation disciplines\nDevelop plans, calculations and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college\nPassing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam - EI required\nExperience with Microstation/GEOPAK\nExperience with GEOPAK Corridor Modeling or Open Roads required\nFamiliarity with FDOT plans preparation criteria and design standards a plus\nStrong work ethic and ability to work independently and work on large multi-discipline engineering teams\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
