This role ensures the branch operates smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while delivering excellent service to the customers. This is a critical position in leading teams, managing financial performance, and driving operational improvements while ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.\nEssential Functions\nManage real-time inventory tracking, optimization, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment.\nManage and coordinate the Inbound and Outbound freight.\nSupport with route planning, carrier selection, and last-mile delivery support.\nSupport with necessary warehouse operations in efficiently picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of products.\nManage the staff workforce through hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members.\nMentor, train, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, counter sales associates, truck drivers, warehouse leads, and managers.\nMonitor team performance and productivity.\nEnforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations within the warehouse.\nSupport and execute corporate initiatives, policies, and standards at the branch level.\nParticipate in annual planning, budgeting, and operational forecasting.\nDevelop and implement strategies to improve service, productivity, and profitability.\nCarry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.\nWork Experience\n6+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution center experience, including 2+ years of supervisory and leadership experience.\nIn-depth understanding of a distribution center and/or best practices for warehouse operation.\nExperience with forklifts and other material handling equipment.\nExperience in the flooring industry is a plus!\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nMust be able to regularly lift over 75Ibs.\nAble to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company's workplace safety.\nAble to frequently walk, stand, bend, and lift in a warehouse environment.\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or GED required;
