retailers across 16 states.\nPosition Overview\nThe Counter Sales Specialist will assist customers in the showroom with purchasing, order pick-up, and providing product knowledge within the flooring industry.\nBranch: All Tile - CCS/Walcro in Davenport, IA\nWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm\nPay: $19-$21/hr depending on experience\nEssential Functions\nCustomer Service\nGreet and assist walk-in customers.\nProvide product information, recommendations, and solutions based on customer needs.\nDirect customers to appropriate products and displays.\nAnswer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails regarding products, pricing, and order information.\nResolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.\nSales\nUpsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.\nSupport sales representatives, customer care, and other departments as needed.\nProcess sales orders and quotes.\nParticipate in vendor events and various product trainings/demos.\nApprove e-commerce orders and keep approvals within SLA metrics.\nOrder Hygiene\nManage open orders in the portal.\nFollow up with customers regarding their orders and meet order hygiene standards and procedures.\nWarehouse Operational Support\nSupport with basic order fulfillment.\nPerform cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.\nPerform other warehouse tasks as needed.\nSafety & Housekeeping\nFollow OSHA and company safety regulations.\nUse proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures.\nMaintain showroom displays, product samples, and merchandising standards.\nCarry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Degree.\nWork Experience\n0-1 year of customer service, sales, and/or showroom experience.\nExperience working with Point of Sales systems (POS).\nPhysical Demand and Work Environment\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nBasic math skills and reading comprehension skills.\nAbility to manage, reconcile and balance a cash drawer daily.\nFrequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching.\nAbility to work at a computer for extended periods of time.\nMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.\nLegally permitted to work in the United
