This role ensures that products are received, stored, tracked, counted, and shipped while minimizing inventory discrepancies and supporting efficient operations.\nBranch: All Tile - CCS in Wood Dale, IL\nWork Schedule: 2nd Shift, Part Time Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm\nPay: $20-$23/hr depending on experience\nEssential Functions\nInventory & Quality\nPerform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.\nVerify inventory accuracy in the warehouse management system (WMS).\nReconcile physical counts with the system’s records.\nIdentify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nMonitor & Control\nMonitor inventory levels and stock availability.\nTrack product movement throughout the warehouse.\nEnsure products are stored in the correct warehouse locations.\nPrevent stock losses, shrinkage, and misplacements.\nReporting\nGenerate inventory reports.\nAnalyze trends in inventory variances and errors.\nSupport forecasting and inventory planning efforts.\nWarehouse Operations Support\nCoordinate with the warehouse team on order fulfillment.\nPick products according to customer orders by using an RF scanner or pick tickets.\nVerify product quantities and descriptions.\nSafely pack products by properly shrink-wrapping, strapping, and banding pallets for storage and transport.\nLoad and unload products onto customer vehicles.\nStage completed orders for outbound transportation and support with loading products onto vehicles to ensure timely delivery.\nUnload incoming shipments.\nVerify received quantities against packing slips.\nInspect products for visible damage.\nPlace inventory into designated storage locations.\nCustomer Service (as needed)\nAssist with basic order entry in the showroom.\nProfessionally answer phone calls from customers regarding their orders.\nGreet and assist walk-in customers and answer product inquiries.\nSafety & Housekeeping\nSafely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.\nFollow OSHA and company safety regulations.\nUse proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures.\nMaintain clean work areas.\nPromote safe work practices among team members.\nIdentify and report unsafe conditions.\nCarry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Degree.\nWork Experience\n3+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or distribution center experience. \nKnowledge and proficiency in inventory auditing procedures.\nExperience in the flooring and building materials industry is a plus.\nExperience working with WMS;
