This position is responsible for accurately handling inventory, maintaining productivity standards, and following all safety and quality procedures.\nBranch: Tri-State Flooring in Sioux Falls, SD\nWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm\nPay: $18-$20/hr depending on experience\nEssential Functions\nOrder Fulfillment\nPick products according to customer orders by using an RF scanner or pick tickets.\nVerify product quantities and descriptions.\nPacking and Shipping\nSafely pack products by properly shrink-wrapping, strapping, and banding pallets for storage and transport.\nLoad and unload products onto customer vehicles.\nStage completed orders for outbound transportation and support with loading products onto vehicles to ensure timely delivery.\nAssist with waste management by baling scraps and staging finished bales for pickup, as required by the branch.\nReceiving\nUnload incoming shipments.\nVerify received quantities against packing slips.\nInspect products for visible damage.\nPlace inventory into designated storage locations.\nSafety & Housekeeping\nSafely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.\nFollow OSHA and company safety regulations.\nUse proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures.\nMaintain clean work areas.\nPromote safe work practices among team members.\nIdentify and report unsafe conditions.\nCarry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Degree.\nWork Experience\n2-3 years of warehouse, fulfillment, or similar environment and experience.\nAble to use a cutting machine for precision cutting of carpet, vinyls, etc.\nFamiliarity with working in a distribution center.\nExperience with cycle counting and inventory control.\nExperience working with RF scanners.\nExperience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.\nPhysical Demand and Work Environment\nAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.\nBasic math skills and reading comprehension skills.\nBasic computer skills for printing and entering data.\nFrequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching.\nMust be able to push, pull, and maneuver equipment.\nAble to obtain a forklift certification.\nMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly and independently, and heavier items with assistance.\nAble to wear work boots, safety-toed shoes, hi-vis vest, and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety.\nMust be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and operating powered industrial equipment.\nLegally permitted to work in the United
