Lead a team by setting productivity goals, placing inventory orders, setting up systems, and communicating within the warehouse.\nBranch: All Tile - CCS in St. Louis, MO (Earth City)\nWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, can start as early as 5:00am if needed\nEssential Functions\nLead and develop all warehouse staff to create a positive and engaged team environment.\nMotivate the warehouse staff to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations as reviewed during routine huddles.\nEstablish and reinforce operational, delivery, and warehouse safety, maintenance, compliance, and cleanliness standards.\nManage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.\nVerify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.\nOperate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.\nFollow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.\nRecommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications to warehouses, buildings, and grounds.\nOrganize warehouse space and inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport.\nMonitor drop points and remote warehouse locations and coordinate with other branches to ensure high customerservice.\nFosters strong communication between employees, management, and other departments.\nAble to operate fully as a backup in all warehouse positions.\nCarry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.\nWork Experience\n5+ years of warehouse experience in retail, wholesale trade, or a similar environment.\n1+ years of supervisor/leadership experience.\nForklift experience and/or certification.\nIn-depth understanding of the industry and best practices for warehouse operation.\nExperience in the flooring industry is a plus.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nMust be able to regularly lift to 75 lbs.\nAbility to walk or stand for a long period.\nAble to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety (if applicable).\nBe able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening.\nLegally permitted to work in the United States.\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent
