Our client is replacing an end-of-life ERP platform and moving order activation, fulfillment, and licensing logic out of the ERP and into an in-house application. Work starts on pieces that sit outside the ERP and can be built independently of the new platform. You will be Allata's senior presence on the engagement and lead an embedded team of architects, engineers, and analysts.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nLead discovery sessions to document current-state processes and how sales and operations platforms support them.\nDesign target-state architectures and event-driven integration patterns that replace invoice-triggered workflows.\nTurn functional requirements into technical requirements engineers can build from, and explain technical decisions in plain language.\nPlan incremental, unit-by-unit rollout across business units running different CRM and ERP platforms.\nReview designs and guide decisions during delivery so the build matches the architecture.\nDefine an AI-augmented development approach with review standards, quality gates, and UAT.\nLead the embedded team, including staffing recommendations, work allocation, and quality of delivery.\nOwn program outcomes: scope, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.\nBuild trusted relationships with client technology leaders and identify where other Allata service lines can add value.\nMentor consultants and keep Allata leadership informed on engagement health and financials.\nRequirements:\n10+ years in software engineering and architecture, including 4+ years as a lead solution architect or equivalent.\nManager-level consulting or senior leadership experience, with a record of leading client engagements with limited oversight.\nExperience leading architects, engineers, or analysts in a client setting.\nTrack record of owning program-level outcomes on complex, multi-system initiatives.\nExperience engaging director, VP, and C-level stakeholders.\nHands-on experience with .NET applications, event-driven architecture and messaging platforms, ERP/CRM/financial system integrations, and modernizing legacy systems.\nExperience turning ambiguous business processes into clear architecture and requirements.\nFluent English and strong overlap with US business hours.\nNice to have:\nERP replacement or financial-systems transformation experience (Dynamics 365 a plus).\nExperience with order-to-cash, licensing, subscription, or entitlement platforms.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics CRM.\nMulti-brand or post-acquisition environments.\nHands-on use of AI-assisted development tools\nSoft Skills\nSelf-directed, with sound decisions in ambiguous situations.\nStrong written and verbal communication with business, product, and engineering audiences.\nEmpathy and respect, promoting a collaborative team environment.\nDedication to continuous learning and development, for yourself and for
