In this role, you will focus on delivering complex cloud projects, including large-scale migrations from on-premises data centers to AWS, containerized application deployment (including Amazon EKS), building new landing zones, and implementing infrastructure-as-code using modern automation frameworks. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and evolving AWS architectures; developing automation to streamline delivery; ensuring robust monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting practices; and leveraging cutting-edge AWS services to help customers achieve their business goals. This position is hands-on, customer-facing, and integral to driving successful AWS delivery engagements.\nRequirements\nSummary of Key Responsibilities\nArchitect, design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure AWS infrastructure for project needs (e.g., compute, storage, networking, database).\nLead or participate in cloud migrations: lifting and shifting on-premises workloads, re-architecting to cloud-native services.\nBuild and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK.\nImplement CI/CD pipelines (for example via AWS CodePipeline / AWS CodeBuild / Jenkins / GitLab CI) to automate deployment workflows.\nImplement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and integrate event-driven architectures where appropriate.\nContainerize applications (Docker) and orchestrate microservices using AWS container platform services, with a strong focus on Amazon EKS, ECS, and Fargate.\nEnsure monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing of AWS resources and applications using tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack.\nApply best practices around security: IAM policies, least privilege, encryption (at rest/in transit), network segmentation (VPCs, subnets), Web Application Firewall (WAF), GuardDuty, AWS Shield, etc.\nImplement backup, disaster recovery and high availability strategies; manage data redundancies, snapshots, multi-AZ / multi-region architectures.\nOptimize cost & performance: right-sizing resources, identifying waste, designing for efficiency.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in cloud infrastructure and services; conduct root cause analyses.\nMaintain documentation for architectures, configurations, standard operating procedures, runbooks.\nEngage with cross-functional teams: developers, QA, operations, security/compliance, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.\nCommunicate proactively and effectively with clients to understand technical needs, provide progress updates, and articulate complex solutions clearly.\nApply critical thinking and strategic problem-solving to evaluate trade-offs, identify root causes, and design robust cloud architectures.\nStay up to date on the latest AWS services, features, industry best practices; evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.\nPerform deep OS-level troubleshooting and system administration across both Linux and Windows environments operating in the cloud.\nSummary of Requirements & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field (or equivalent work experience).\n3-5+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS in an engineering or infrastructure role (seniority adjustable).\nStrong knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, RDS / Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.\nProven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.\nHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes / Amazon EKS, ECS, and Fargate.\nProven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex container workload issues in Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and AWS ECS environments.\nExperience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions.\nSolid scripting skills (Python, Bash, NodeJS, PowerShell, or similar) for automating tasks.\nWorking familiarity with monitoring, logging, tracing tools (e.g. CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).\nStrong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance (VPCs, subnets, security groups, network ACLs, encryption, identity management).\nExperience in project delivery: working in agile or scrum environments, estimating work, delivering against milestones.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nGood communication skills-able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDeep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with OS-level administration, configuration, and advanced troubleshooting for both Linux and Windows Server platforms.\nStrong client-facing communication skills with a proven track record of building trust and managing technical discussions with stakeholders.\nExceptional critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and decisive problem-solving capabilities under complex or ambiguous scenario conditions.\nWhy work for us?\nOur team inspires progress in each other and in our customers through our relentless pursuit of excellence;
