In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying backend services that power our core products. You will work with a modern tech stack centered on Python and AWS, with a specific focus on building scalable, event-driven architectures and integrating the latest Generative AI technologies into our systems. Your expertise will be crucial in building robust and highly available applications that can handle complex data flows and business logic.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.\nDesign and implement event-driven workflows using AWS Step Functions to orchestrate business processes.\nIntegrate and leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) with AWS Bedrock to build AI-powered features.\nUtilize and manage core AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3.\nDesign and build large-scale, high-availability systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.\nWork with microservices and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.\nCollaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end solutions.\nRequirements\n3-5 years in backend software engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS services.\nPython proficiency for backend development.\nHands-on expertise with AWS Step Functions and event-driven architecture.\nStrong knowledge of core AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3.\nProven ability to design and implement large-scale, high-availability systems.\nExperience with microservices and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).\nExperience integratingLLMs with AWS Bedrock.\nPractical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.\nExperience with Kafka or other event-streaming systems.\nProficiency with AWS observability tools such as CloudWatch and X-Ray.\nBackground in building complex AI-driven workflows that combine structured logic with LLM reasoning.\nA proven track record in production-grade systems within financial, enterprise, or other regulated industries.\nWhy work for us?\nOur team inspires progress in each other and in our customers through our relentless pursuit of excellence; you will work with leaders who promote learning and personal development.
