Working within Information Technology Services (ITS), the position ensures that enterprise data is accurately integrated, securely managed, and accessible through reliable and scalable reporting and analytics solutions.\nThe position collaborates closely with functional departments, Institutional Effectiveness, and enterprise systems teams to translate business and institutional reporting requirements into effective technical solutions. Responsibilities include developing integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, OSM, and other institutional systems; extending enterprise analytics capabilities; and supporting the modernization of institutional reporting and data management practices.\nIn addition to implementation responsibilities, the position supports the long-term sustainability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of the College's business intelligence environment. The successful candidate will combine strong technical development skills with an understanding of enterprise systems, data architecture, and collaborative problem-solving to support operational effectiveness and data-informed institutional decision-making.\n Business Intelligence Development & Data Management\nDesign, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, data visualizations, data sets, and analytical tools.\nDevelop and maintain data warehouse structures, data models, and data sets to support enterprise reporting and analytics.\nWrite and optimize SQL queries and develop ETL/data integration processes to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems.\nSupport reporting and analytics across enterprise applications, including Oracle Cloud and other institutional systems.\nValidate data and reporting results to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with source systems and established business rules.\nTroubleshoot and resolve data, reporting, integration, and dashboard issues and implement sustainable solutions.\nEvaluate and improve existing reporting and data processes to increase efficiency, automation, usability, and reliability.\nBusiness Analysis, Reporting & Analytics\nWork with departments across the College to gather requirements, understand business processes, identify data needs, and translate business questions into effective reporting and analytical solutions.\nDevelop standardized and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analyses that support operational needs and institutional decision-making.\nAnalyze institutional and operational data to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and opportunities for improvement.\nConsult with functional users to interpret data and determine appropriate reporting and analytical approaches.\nCollaborate with users to establish and maintain consistent definitions, business rules, and data standards for institutional reporting.\nProvide consultation, training, and support to users in the effective use and interpretation of reports, dashboards, and institutional data.\nSupport Institutional Effectiveness reporting and modernization.\nEnterprise Data & BI Strategy\nCollaborate with ITS and functional areas to establish priorities for business intelligence, reporting, data integration, and analytics initiatives.\nParticipate in projects involving enterprise applications, system implementations, data integrations, reporting, and institutional data initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for data sources, data models, business rules, reports, dashboards, integrations, and technical processes.\nIdentify opportunities to expand the use of institutional data and business intelligence to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness.\nMonitor emerging business intelligence, analytics, data management, and reporting technologies and recommend solutions that may benefit the College.\nContribute to the development of data governance, reporting standards, and practices that promote reliable and consistent use of institutional data.\nData Security, Support & Other Duties\nMaintain appropriate data security, privacy, access controls, and governance practices when working with institutional data.\n\nProvide ongoing support and maintenance for business intelligence applications, reports, dashboards, and data processes.\n\nRespond to and resolve reporting and data-related requests and issues.\n\nMaintain awareness of changes to enterprise systems and their potential impact on reporting and data solutions.\n\nEducation and Credentials\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required \nMinimum of 4-7 years experience required; 7-10 years experience preferred \nProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite of Products\n Required Knowledge\nDemonstrated knowledge of relational databases, analytical data modeling, advanced SQL, and query optimization.\nUnderstanding of enterprise analytics implementation, data integration, ETL/ELT, system testing, change management, and technical documentation.\nKnowledge of data reconciliation, quality controls, semantic models, and reporting design practices.\nUnderstanding of information security, role-based access, privacy, and governance principles, including FERPA.\nAbility to learn Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM data structures, FDI configuration, and higher-education reporting requirements.\nSkills and Abilities\nRequired Skills\nStrong advanced SQL development, debugging, and data analysis skills.\nExperience developing enterprise BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and data models.\nAbility to design, test, document, and troubleshoot data integration and transformation processes.\nAbility to reconcile analytical outputs against source systems and resolve discrepancies with functional data owners.\nStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, documentation, and time-management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple technical assignments within project timelines and collaborate across functional boundaries.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively to administrators, faculty, staff, business owners, and technical colleagues.\nRequired Abilities\nAbility to independently implement and maintain complex analytics configurations while working with vendors and functional teams.\n\nAbility to analyze existing reporting processes and build secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.\n\nAbility to prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve integration, reporting, data-quality, and platform issues.\n\nAbility to deliver accurate technical work and maintain complete implementation and support documentation.\n\nAbility to facilitate technical requirements and testing discussions among diverse stakeholders.\n\nAbility to adapt to changing Oracle releases, implementation milestones, and institutional priorities.\n\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive financial, employee, and student information.\n\nComputer Skills\nRequired skills in Advanced Reporting/Analytics Tools such as Entrinsik Informer, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, R, Python, Oracle Integration Cloud.\nPreferred skills in Enterprise Applications such as Colleague (Unidata) and Oracle Cloud experience.\nPreferred skills in Project Management/Collaboration Tools such as Asana.\nEducation and Credentials\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required \nMinimum of 4-7 years experience required;
