Install Technician - Stanley Access Technologies, Nashville, TN
$3,000 bonus with completion of AAADM Certification

What You Will Do:
Perform installation or service work as designatedin profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.
Maintaining accuratework records, adequate parts inventory for service vehicle.keep inventory log.
Keeping manuals up to date, and maintaincompany vehicles, toolsand other property in accordance withestablished procedures.
Presenting neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance withcompany policies.
Testing equipment before leaving job site and perform safety check.
Maintaining good customer relations and customer service.
Assistingothers in install/service methods and other duties as may be required.
Modeling, fosteringand driving the Allegion values including Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Vision, Stretch, Boundaryless and Speed.
Other duties as required.
What You Need to Succeed:
Diploma in a related carpentry, electrical, mechanical, industrial field or the equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
Ability to work outside in various climate conditions.
Valid driver’s license with a good drivingrecord.
Must be capable of meeting the following physical demands including, but not limited to:liftingor carrying weights form 50-75 lbs., sitting while driving for periods of up to severalhours each day, standing on concrete for several hours each day,stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling and twisting spine occasionally.
Ability to Frequently go up and down ladders.
Ability to work around the following conditions: movingvehicles, object, hazardous machinery, sharp tools cluttered floors, slippery floors, electrical hazards, poor lightingand wet conditions.
Must be able to read basic blueprints.
Ability to work independently and within teams.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in basic computer functions such as email and MS Word.
Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
Prior experience in the automated door industry including swinging, slidingand revolving doors would be a definite asset.
Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification
