Overtime during the week is typically 2:30pm - 1:00am and Saturdays when needed. Join our world class team of diligent problem solvers, innovators, fresh thinkers, and communicators who excite and inspire others.\nMaintenance Technician\nThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing intermediate level maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role supports production goals by minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment performance, and adhering to safety and quality standards.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerform intermediate maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems independently; assist with more technical tasks under supervision.\nTroubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic and measuring instruments (e.g., multimeters, calipers, micrometers).\nConduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.\nAssist with root cause analysis of equipment failures and prepare maintenance reports/documentation for audits.\nSafely and effectively use hand and power tools for maintenance activities.\nSupport production equipment and facility maintenance as directed.\nAccurately complete maintenance logs and work orders using CMMS software or other tracking systems.\nReport equipment issues, safety hazards, and maintenance needs to leaders.\nAdhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage, and OSHA regulations; maintain awareness and report safety hazards.\nMaintain a clean, organized workspace; collaborate and communicate effectively with team members; cross-train in other areas\n Adapt to new processes or technologies and work overtime as needed to meet maintenance goals.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nRequired:\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED\n1 year in industrial maintenance or related field.\nDeveloping technical knowledge with machines, tools, equipment, and facility maintenance.\nDeveloping technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems; experience with CNC equipment, presses, cranes, lasers, and PLC basics.\nKnowledge of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.\nComputer literacy.\nPreferred:\nJourneyman certification or Associate degree in related field.\nBasic welding and HVAC knowledge.\nProficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.\nExperience working with chemicals.\nPhysical Demands:\nAbility to handle parts and tools with precision.\nPerform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).\nUse of ladders and scissor lifts to perform tasks.\nStanding Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.\nLifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75lbs.\nPerform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).\nAbility to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.\nWhy Work for Us?\nAllegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:\nYou're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
