As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead, coach, and develop a production team while driving operational discipline, maintaining a safe and quality-focused environment, and executing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.\nQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead, coach, and develop a production team, conducting daily startup meetings and driving accountability for performance and attendance.\nCoordinate labor, equipment, and material flow to execute daily production aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and customer commitments.\nIdentify production bottlenecks and constraints, implement immediate corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.\nEnsure proper handling, storage, and processing of wood veneer materials to minimize defects, damage, and scrap.\nPromote a proactive safety culture by conducting safety observations, enforcing PPE and 5S standards, and leading incident/near-miss investigations.\nChampion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, optimize workflows, and track key operational KPIs.\nMaintain daily production reporting and collaborate closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\n Required Education: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience).\nPreferred Education: Associate degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.\nRequired Experience: 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.\nPreferred Experience: Previous leadership, lead operator, team lead, or supervisory experience.\nPreferred Experience: Experience in wood products, door manufacturing, building products, or related manufacturing environments.\nRequired Skills: Proven ability to read and execute production schedules and track shop-floor metrics.\n Required Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital production reporting/ERP systems.\nPreferred Skills: Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, root-cause problem solving, and 5S methodology.\nWhy Work for Us?\nAllegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:\nYou're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
