This year, Allegion also received Gallup’s With Distinction honor - a designation reserved for a select group of organizations that go above and beyond in building exceptional workplace cultures.\nWhat You Will Do:\nReceive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility to support production schedules and customer orders.\nSafely operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.\nLoad and unload materials from trucks and containers.\nAccurately enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices.\nPerform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and report discrepancies to supervisors.\nInspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory documentation.\nAdhere to safety protocols, use PPE, and practice proper lifting techniques.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and properly store tools and equipment.\nCollaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.\nDemonstrate flexibility by working overtime when needed, cross-training in other areas, and adapting to new processes or technologies.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED\nFamiliarity with material handling and material movement.\nBasic computer literacy.\nAbility to use proper lifting techniques and material movement equipment effectively.\nAbility to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.\nPhysical Demands:\nAbility to handle material and parts.\nPerform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).\nStanding Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.\nPerform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).\nAbility to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.\nWhy Work for Us?\nAllegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:\nYou're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
