You will be a key contributor to the overall success of the organization by leveraging your financial expertise and business acumen to influence critical decisions and drive financial performance. This role requires collaboration across a matrixed organization partnering with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, among other groups. This role will also serve on the leadership team of the Indianapolis Ops location and have controllership over the site. This leader must possess strong accounting, financial analysis, internal control, planning, and reporting skills as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.\nWhat You Will Do:\nStrategic Business Partnership:\nCollaborate closely with the Exits General Manager and SBU Leadership Team to understand the business unit’s goals, objectives, and challenges\n\nPartner and drive business results with cross-functional leadership teams, providing financial expertise in strategic planning discussions\n\nAct as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive effective decision making and enhance business performance\n\nDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of business drivers and identify opportunities for financial optimization\n\nEvaluate strategic initiatives and investment opportunities, providing financial analysis and recommendations to support decision making\n\nParticipate in M&A activities impacting the BU, including financial and operational due diligence, integration planning and post-merger implementation to ensure seamless value capture and alignment with strategic objectives.\n\nFinancial Planning and Analysis:\nLead the forecasting and planning processes - Long-Range Plan (LRP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Forecasts, and Risks & Opportunities (R&O) - for the business unit, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and assumptions\n\nResponsible for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow for the Exits\n\nConduct thorough financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance of the business\n\nContinued analysis of business results, along with market trends, to make recommendations to the SBU GM in support of strategic initiatives\n\nPerformance Monitoring and Reporting:\nEstablish and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics to assess the health and progress of the SBU\n\nProvide regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management, highlighting financial results, variances, and actionable insights\n\nIdentify and execute improvements and digital/lean transformation opportunities in financial processes\n\nAccountable for month-end close process and lead Day +3 monthly performance review calls\n\nResponsibilities include ensuring that monthly financial statements are compliant with U.S. GAAP\n\nMaintain strong internal controls in accordance with GAAP, FICAPs, and SOX\n\nTalent Management:\nLead and develop a team of 2 finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and providing mentorship and guidance\n\nCreate a collaborative and engaging team environment for your direct reports\n\nIdentify opportunities for professional growth and development for team members, promoting a continuous learning environment\n\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required\n\n7+ years of experience in the finance function of a manufacturing environment\n\nStrong leadership, presentation skills, and ability to explain and communicate financial results to management in an understandable and actionable format for decision-making purposes\n\nStrong computer and analytical skills\n\nWe will consider relocation to Indianapolis for this opportunity\n\nPercentage of Travel: \n\nWhy Work for Us?\nAllegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:\nYou're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
