They will lead multi-location, cross functional teams to launch new products using a structured development process. The projects may involve Mechanical and/or Electronic developments of various complexities.\nWhat You Will Do:\nWorks closely with Product Managers and Senior Program Managers to capture product/project requirements, scope and success metrics.\nLeads a cross-functional team - Product Management, Engineering, Design, Test, Finance, Operations and other functions to establish project development strategy, schedule, product costs, budget and resource needs.\nWork With the team to establish the execution plan weighing tradeoffs. Continuously tracks project activities, risks, and issues to ensure programs progress on schedule and within budget while meeting established customer requirements.\nWorks directly with the team when needed to drive issues to closure, and/or escalates issues and mitigation recommendations to upper management.\nResolves people and team dynamic issues for the effective performance of the program team in completing their assignments.\nMay work with other program managers on interdependencies with other simultaneous projects.\nSchedules and leads timely status review meetings, and formal project Reviews with Senior Management.\nAbility to travel up to 20%.\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nExperience in new product development programs from concept to production using a structured process.\nProven problem-solving skills, techniques.\nExcellent leadership and communication skills.\nTenacity in coordination of project team members to achieve program timelines and outcomes.\nSelf-starter with a desire to make a significant impact on the project execution.\nCourage to raise issues to upper management when a program is at risk.\nGood understanding of consumer products, software, and hardware development preferred.\nExperience with Microsoft Office tools, including project management software.\nEDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\nBachelor's Degree required\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in New Product Development and/or Support\nCaPM or other Project/Program Management Certifications preferred.\nWhy Work for Us?\nAllegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:\nYou're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
