Join our world class team of diligent problem solvers, innovators, fresh thinkers, and communicators who excite and inspire others.\nSecond Shift Production Supervisor\nThe Second Shift Supervisor will provide leadership and guidance to a team for 40-50 team members. This candidate will have authority on personnel decisions, hiring, performance, and/or disciplinary action. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think critically, meet deadlines, and lead a dynamic team to safely meet production targets and quality standards.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupervise and coordinate the activities of the manufacturing team to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards.\n\nPlan and schedule production activities, ensuring that production targets are met within the specified timeframes while effectively managing overtime.\n\nMonitor, maintain and analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize productivity and reduce waste.\n\nEnsure that all manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines and hand tools, are properly maintained and serviced via defined PM activities.\n\nCollaborate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance and quality control, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.\n\nMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials and components for production.\n\nMaintain a safe and clean working environment, enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among the team.\n\nConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying areas for improvement and recognizing achievements.\n\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.\n\n3+ years of experience as a Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.\n\nWorking knowledge of lean principles and methodologies\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, assembly, and quality control.\n\nExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.\n\nMaintains a sense of urgency with safety, quality and the customer in mind.\n\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\n\nKnowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting.\n\nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\n\nProficiency in using manufacturing software and systems.\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\n\nAdaptable and able to adjust to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.\n\nCompensation:\nThis range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.\nThe expected salary range is $90,000-100,000.
