The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented self-starter to join Allegion’s Channel Finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide support to Americas Channel Finance with responsibility for tracking revenue performance and assisting with strategic channel initiatives. The position will also play a critical role in producing timely and accurate financial information that is in compliance with GAAP and applicable company policy (FICAP). This role will help drive transformation within the organization by enhancing the team’s analytics capabilities to provide meaningful information to the business to drive decisions. This position will have exposure to the Sales Leadership Team, Americas Leadership Team, and Finance Leaders.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport channel finance efforts in tracking revenue performance of sales teams and strategic initiatives\nProvide variance explanations and actionable insights in relation to month-end channel finance reports\nServe as point-of-contact for various standardized reports and ongoing customer programs\nAnalyze and provide management with clear insights into drivers of pricing and discount performance\nSupport annual operating plan, forecasting, and target setting efforts for strategic business units and regional sales offices\nSupport Month End Close rhythms - management reporting, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and validation of sales data\nDevelop and maintain an understanding of various systems and data sources to make recommendations for process improvements\nWork cross functionally to provide detailed analytics as requested\nPartner with sales to provide meaningful information for serving customer needs and driving revenue growth opportunities\nMaintain strong internal controls in accordance with SOX, GAAP, and FICAPs\nSupport audit requests and drive prevention, detection, and timely correction of control deficiencies\nProactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement\nLeverage technology where appropriate to enhance reporting functionality\nCreate an excellent customer experience for our business partners\nConsistently maintain and improve process documentation\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field preferred\n3-5 years of hands-on experience\nStrong analytical skills with ability to understand and develop insights from complex data from multiple sources\nAbility to manage large sets of data to complete analytics\nAbility to see the big picture while collecting information and analyzing trends\nStrong project management skills and ability to work effectively with deadlines\nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills\nWillingness and desire to learn and develop new skills\nAbility to explain and communicate financial results to management in an understandable and actionable format for decision-making purposes\nStrong skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)\nCross functional team player with focus on business improvement\nAbility to travel up to 5%\nWhy Work for Us?\nAllegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:\nYou're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
