This hands-on technical role blends application development, integration work, and operational support. The developer will work closely with business users, product modelers, other IT teams, and vendors to translate requirements into reliable solutions, diagnose and resolve production issues, and deliver configuration and integration improvements.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nSelf-motivated with the ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified time frames\nAbility to communicate well verbally and in writing, with various team members across the globe in roles that are both technical and non-technical\nBe willing to coordinate efforts with employees including internal stakeholders, other technology teams, external suppliers/consultants, service providers, etc.\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical requirements\nStrong administrative and organization skills with attention to detail and sense of urgency\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain custom features, scripts, and integrations for Experlogix and V6 product configuration platforms.\nDesign, build, and consume RESTful APIs and other web services to integrate configurators with ERPs and in-house systems.\nImplement HTML/JavaScript-based UI pieces or client-side customizations as required by product configuration workflows.\nWrite C#/.NET code for back-end services, extensions, and integration components.\nUse SQL (MS SQL Server / Azure SQL) to author queries, stored procedures, and troubleshoot data issues related to configuration and integrations.\nLeverage basic cloud services and patterns (Azure preferred) for hosting, integration, automation, or scaling (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus).\nSupport operational health: monitor logs, triage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation across teams and vendors.\nWork with vendors to report defects, validate vendor fixes, test patches in non-production environments, and deploy solutions.\nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and implement configuration or code changes; create and maintain technical design documents and runbooks.\nParticipate in release activities, coordinate with infrastructure/DBA/security teams, and follow SDLC and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps preferred).\nProactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, deployment automation, and operational efficiency.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience), required.\n3+ years of professional experience developing, supporting, or implementing enterprise applications, CPQ/configurator solutions, or ERP integrations.\nHands-on development experience in .Net, C#, JavaScript, and HTML.\nExperience designing and building SOAP or RESTful APIs and consuming web services.\nDemonstrable proficiency with MS SQL Server / Azure SQL (writing T-SQL, troubleshooting data flows).\nFamiliarity with cloud concepts and experience with Azure services or equivalent cloud platforms.\nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to dig into logs and code to determine root causes.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics (AX/365) or other ERP systems and integration patterns (OData, DMF, SOAP), plus.\nExperience with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and operational tasks.\nExperience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.\nWe Celebrate Who We Are!\nAllegion is committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
