The mission of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) is to improve manufacturing products and/or processes through the innovative application of science, advanced technologies, engineering methods and management methodologies. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will support execution of this vision while gaining experience in how to manufacture products more safely, at a higher quality, faster, and at lower cost.\nQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.\nWhat You Will Do:\nProcess Improvement & Technical Documentation: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing existing processes, developing and testing solutions, validating results, and creating clear technical documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.\n PLC Programming & Controls Development: Assist in developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and related control systems used for machine automation, monitoring, and data acquisition.\nElectronics Testing & Validation: Support the testing, validation, and deployment of electronic systems and components to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with design requirements.\nAutomation Engineering Support: Contribute to the evaluation, design, and implementation of automation solutions by collaborating with engineering teams to identify opportunities that improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.\nData Analytics & Digital Manufacturing: Utilize data analysis tools, AI technologies, and predictive analytics to support manufacturing operations.
