Through meaningful work projects, our interns are empowered to build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career.\nThe core responsibility for the Hardware Engineering intern is to participate with the engineering team and perform tasks as assigned to meet project objectives and departmental goals.\nQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.\nWhat You Will Do:\nActively involved in the engineering design process\nHelp design and evaluate sensors and IoT technologies for new products in development.\nHelp in building and testing prototypes, and analyze test data to assess performance.\nLearn and apply best practices in PCB design and layout.\nParticipates in design reviews, as assigned\nProvides written input for project reports, focusing on assigned tasks\nRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job\nParticipates in the testing process through test review and analysis\nWorks under the immediate supervision of more experienced engineers\nReceives direct assistance on difficult tasks\nWhat You Need To Succeed:\nPursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering\nSophomore year must be complete by the start of the summer internship program for undergraduate candidates. (If you can only accept incoming seniors for your position, then please change sophomore to junior in this qualification)\nMinimum 3.0 on 4.0 GPA scale.\nDemonstrated leadership ability and initiative (e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership on school/work projects).\nOrganized\nTeam player\nEffective oral and written communication skills\nTroubleshooting skills\nAbility to multitask and prioritize effectively\nCandidate must be a self-motivated problem solver operating with limited supervision to help achieve goals for a global team.\nExperience with circuit design projects or previous internship experience is preferred.\nExperience in Python, C, Altium Designer (or similar), Spice, Labworks (or Similar). IoT, SolidWorks (or similar).
