You will gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced production environment, working with the latest technologies and helping to improve Allegion’s overall production process. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport Capital project development, execution & sustainability\n\nManage technical and administrative aspects of capital projects\n\nAct as main point of contact for selected vendors & contractors\n\nManage required internal resources to support project execution\n\nEvaluate, track and report out on project status & objectives\n\nDevelop & drive project plans to deliver results on time & on target\n\nDevelop robust and sustainable TPM plans to maximize equipment potential & longevity\n\nManage project budgets in concert with monthly expense reporting\n\nExhibit detailed critical thinking skills for complex problem resolution\n\nExposure to Capital Project planning\nAnnual Operating Plan (AOP) development\n\nBusiness Cases (BC) & Capital Expenditure Requests (CER) development\n\nEvaluate Return on Investment (ROI) for new assets\n\nWrite specification documents for new equipment based on cost, delivery, quality & people\n\nPerform tasks in a timely and accurate manner\n\nMay perform other duties as assigned and extend into other areas as needed\n\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nAbility to establish and maintain effective work relationships with a diverse group\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and in independent situations, and exercise good judgment to reach sound conclusions\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nOrganized with a strong sense of urgency\n\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions, schedules, rules, procedures, etc.\n\nFluent in Microsoft programs for data analysis, report generation, project management, etc.\n\nStrong critical thinking skills\n\nStrong problem-solving skills\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to demonstrate manual dexterity; ability to use fingers and hands to feel, handle, or squeeze; reach with hands and arms; twist/turn body; perform repetitive motions\n\nAbility to stand, walk, and/or sit, frequently and for extended periods of time\n\nAbility to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl\n\nAbility to frequently lift up to 5 pounds, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and rarely lift up to 60 pounds.
