Our products are corrosion resistant alloys based on stainless steel, nickel, titanium…\nWe are now looking for Production Machine Operators for our very promising site of Alleima Precision Tube, based at Scottdale PA, USA.\nWe are a plant specialized in producing high precision stainless and nickel alloy tube products to various high demanding industries including aerospace, transportation, nuclear and petrochemical.\nYour Role\nAfter on the job training, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery and material handling equipment on the production floor. Machinery used will be; overhead cranes, small and large swagers, and cutting machinery. Your duties will also include measuring and material transportation.\nWhat we expect from you to is:\nUnder general direction, responsible for the setup, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes.\nFollows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or specialized manufacturing processes (drawing, heat treatment, cutting, straightening etc etc ).\nSelects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.\nRaise and report issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.\nInspects machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.\nMaintain and clean your workstation,\nSafety and housekeeping (5S) requirements\nExpected results : Quality of the tubes; Productivity with number of parts produced per hour; Compliance with production procedures and instructions and Quality control of parts and identification of defects.\nAbout you\nIf you are passionate about the manufacturing industry combined with an innovation mindset, we are made to work together !\nTo succeed you should have a can-do attitude and possess a strong work ethic.\nYou should have a track record of dependability and safety and be able to learn on the job.\nYou must be able to respect and encourage safety and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
