The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to innovative production processes in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nSet up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other multi-axis machines to manufacture complex parts according to engineering drawings and blueprints.\nProgram CNC machines using G-code, CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360), or manual programming for prototypes and production runs.\nRead and interpret technical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), to ensure parts meet precise tolerances.\nPerform routine maintenance, tool changes, and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime and optimize performance.\nInspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs) and document quality results for compliance.\nCollaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality teams to refine processes, reduce waste, and improve cycle times.\nAdhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with lean manufacturing principles.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CNC machining apprenticeship or vocational program preferred.\n Experience: Minimum of 5 years of CNC mill and lathe programming experience\nProficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation of mills and lathes.\nProficiency with inspection tools and reading technical documents.\nProficiency in CAM programming and operation, as well as reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and GD&T standards.\nProficient with basic shop tools and machines (manual mill, engine lathe, drill press, bandsaw, belt sanders, hand tools etc.)\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary\nACS Equity Package\nHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nAllen Control Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer, providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
